Accepting a production line. What should the record confirm?

Before signing the order, agree test parameters, measurement conditions and how results will be recorded. Distinguish defects that prevent start-up from issues that can be remedied after acceptance by an agreed date.
What to agree in practice
Check which payments depend on delivery, installation or the test result. Agree what happens when testing is delayed by the site or the supplier. The record should make the next step clear to both teams.
